The
Cherry Blossom trees on
the Tidal Basin,
were a gift from Japan
in 1912. They signal
the coming of Spring
with an explosion of
life and color
surrounding the
Jefferson Memorial on
the Tidal Basin in a sea
of pale pink and white.

will open is not an easy
question to answer, but
