National Air and Space Museum Washington DCThe world's most visited museum houses the Wright Brothers' 1903 Flyer, Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, Apollo 11 lunar command module and an incredible collection of aviation and space technology treasures. Samuel P. Langley Theater shows spectacular IMAX film daily (admission). Albert Einstein Planetarium presents a free program on the constellations (daily at 3 p.m.). Open: Daily 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (except December 25); extended summer hours determined annually.
